Re: The Ever-Expanding Worlds of Warcraft

I'm hearing reports at least that there's a bit of scaling going on to make a more fair fight between players of different levels, though of course that's not much help once rogues enter the equation. At least you can turn War Mode off until you're ready for the ganking to resume.

I've always been a fan of voting as a way of forcing interaction, so sure, I'll switch to Leeham.

Re: The Ever-Expanding Worlds of Warcraft

I'm the wrong person for this 'cause I play WoW like it's single player, but I'm having a ton of fun with Battle for Azeroth. The zones are a lot less claustrophobic than they were in Legion, there are more dungeons than Warlords got in its entire lifecycle, the questing is every bit as good as it's...

(This is all in reference to the current dogpile on Romo, okay. Day 1 is a crapshoot, of course, but this is all happening awfully fast.)

Re: WEREWOLF 101 (PT)

First vote from Caithness is just to prod the inactive and doesn't really say much, I think. Immediate second vote from hngkong is maybe suspicious, but not as much as Kayma piling on vote number 3 right afterward.

As long as we're looking at posting patterns for cause of suspicion, you're the first person to post twice, yet you haven't cast a vote yet, Caithness .

Re: Perfect Porkchops

Now that a bunch of long-foreshadowed truths are finally coming out, it seems terribly fitting that we should now find a bunch more mysteries heaped upon us. Namely, what the FUCK is up with WP/WD? Why does WP's gem placement imply she should have belonged to PD, and why vice versa? I did like t...

Re: Perfect Porkchops

There was an episode tonight. Reunited. If you haven't seen it, you need to fucking catch up immediately. This is the best, gayest, craziest, most arc-fulfilling episode of Steven Universe to exist. You liked "The Return"? Okay, double or triple that. The status quo has been—excuse the pun...

Re: In the Land of Wonderful Dreams

In my dreams, I see that town: Tent City. It's part swap meet, part flea market, but everything on offer is from that one part of the late 90s/early 00s that nobody can remember. I am browsing through the stalls with a few companions—no one I've met before, but the mood echoed a shopping trip at the...

Wasn't M10 supposed to be the new heyday of top-down flavorful designs? Nice to see a callback to that, nearly a decade later.

Re: Your 20 game for a PS3 Mini?

Joking aside, I actually find myself thinking about the past couple console generations a fair bit. What the hell was I playing in 2009-2012?? I barely remember, despite the PS3 being my "main" console for that period. Little Big Planet and (even moreso) Little Big Planet 2 earned my etern...

My panel is brought to you by "holy shit, did I seriously just spend five hours drawing these fingers and this Pringles logo, goddamn, paste something on there in a fucking hurry 'cause you gotta sleep some time"

Instead I downloaded graphicsgale for its superior rotation tools

Re: Comic Replacement Game 2001 - A Negative Space Odyssey

My first instinct was gonna be Cosmic Todd Howard breaking through the ceiling to sell the combatants copies of Skyrim, but A., I didn't think I could draw Todd that well, and B., I didn't really wanna put a lot of effort into redrawing the characters we'd seen so far. The gaming table seemed like t...

Listen. Do you hassle the mighty stegosaurus for having the temerity to be a large moss-eater, when time has demonstrated the superior survival strategy to be one involving agriculture and animal husbandry? Of course not: stegosaurus operated in a completely different ecological niche when it still ...

Re: Bogus, batshit, banal, bizarre, or bicubic: Assorted News

For more on Peterson, I think it was this ContraPoints video that marked the first time I found somebody who devoted as much time to analyzing and explaining Peterson's arguments as she spent refuting them, but I'm aware I'm still pretty new to this topic; there may well be superior responses to Pet...
