Re: Tabletop & Board Games

I just got back from Origins Game Fair, and picked up a few new games. One that blew my mind was this one: https://lumoamuzo.com/products/preorder-larklamp-magic-lantern-game-system-02-dec-2017 It uses a lantern to project light onto the tabletop, forming a changeable board. O_O He's got two games f...

I wasn't ready to see one of our faculty here. Get out of my real life, internets.

I like winged eyeliner, but am too afraid to try it myself. :x Looks good! My current favorite lipcolor is Bite's Amuse Bouche, if you haven't tried it. (Out of curiosity, was that a liquid or a pencil eyeliner?)

Does anyone know if it's worthwhile to get Dreamcasts fixed? I have two, one is nonfunctioning and the other fails about half the time (sometimes while already running). I don't know any other way to play my two player Typing of the Dead...

Same here. We've had 2 days of weather above the 40s since the first day of Spring. Extended forecast shows this whole week is also near-freezing snow/rain mix. And my weather doesn't have the excuse of being Canadian.

Re: The Song Stuck in Your Brain

Digging around the apartment for metal bits (old brackets, keys for locks which are long-gone, etc.) to add to the pile of stuff the grade 1 kids are using to make windchimes. Huh, I heard this song in a Muppet Show episode and was all "wtf is this song." Now I know, it is an old, old song.

Re: In the Land of Wonderful Dreams

I noticed last night that I was dreaming, and I was going to ignore it and keep doing the dream but then I remembered Yoji's post and decided to start flying instead. (I was half surprised when it worked.) I was inside a building and stayed there, but zoomed around for a while anyway.

I'd never heard anything about RPO except the title, thanks for saving me the trouble. I'm halfway through The Bad-Ass Librarians of Timbuktu. The first half is some heavy history, but it's important stuff as well as important to the story. I think I'm just about to get to the adventure part of the ...

I dreamt again about being horrifically abused while thousands of people could see but did nothing. At least I'm fighting back now. I remember details but they're too upsetting. It's a really weird feeling to wake up while I've been screaming and crying to find that I'm still and awake, but I can st...

A friend got Thunderstone Quest from the recent kickstarter, and it's great. If you've played Thunderstone Advance, it's a lot of the same ideas, but with some different mechanics and twists. I'm planning to get it myself once they've got it in stores. Only downside is the box is the size of three D...
