The Indiegogo campaign is currently at $2.6M out of a $425K goal. So it's definitely happening.

Greg Weisman is Kickstarting a radio-play adaptation of his novel Rain of the Ghosts. With a pretty eye-popping cast of people he's worked with before on Gargoyles, Spectacular Spider-Man, Young Justice, and Star Wars: Rebels.

It's already at $17K of a $43K goal with 25 days left to go, so I think it's probably going to happen. $25 gets you the play when it's released.

Ex-Rare blokes are making a blatant ripoff (cum spiritual successor) of Banjo Kazooie.

They put googly eyes on the fucking stretch goals.

On the fucking stretch goals.

A curse on every single person who has writ these dark days.

There's a stretch goal for minecart levels. You're damning yourself to a life of suffering.

The Kawaiikochans guy is doing a guidebook on arcades in Japan! If you donate a hundred dollars he'll even make a comic about the Japanese arcade game of your choice! (Within reasonable limits.)

DUDESTICK

Tired of using girly lip balm? Dude Stick is designed for men using core natural ingredients. Great for EDC (Everyday Carry) tactical.

If I'm insecure enough to need MANLY LIP BALM I'm probably not gonna use any product with a name as suggestive as "Dudestick".

This almost looks like a parody. Look at the $100 tier.

Those ingredients actually sound pretty nice; it would sure beat the old fake-cherry stick I've been chipping away at for maybe two decades. (I don't get chapped lips very often.) I'd probably try it if it wasn't advertised in a picture with weapons and money in it. And if it wasn't five goddamn dollars are you kidding me.

And the Red Ash Kickstarters are up -- one for the game and a second for an anime.

These projects are based in separate, yet parallel worlds, giving creators on both sides full freedom to create whatever story or world they want.

And, one assumes, means that they can (unofficially, noninfringingly) imply that these are parallel-universe versions of Mega Man Legends.

And also may be set in the same universe as Mighty No. 9, since they're reusing the Beck and Call names for the Rock and Roll analogues. (Though Call seems to be a combination of both Roll and Tron.)

Also the Kickstarter has a header labeled "On a planet not unlike Earth..." and just TRY not reading that whole section hearing the voice of the narrator from the beginning of MML in your head.

...and oh my God the Bonne family is now called the Bones family and the Diggers are Delvers and oh man they are daring Capcom to sue them.

Re: Dudestick

Believe it or not, making two identical products and then adding something in to make one smell slightly different and then saying THIS ONE IS STRONG ENOUGH FOR A MAN BUT MADE FOR MY VAGINA generates infinite money per second because people are pretty intelligent
