Re: Weather
Thankfully it's not several inches, but there's a good inch here on most surfaces.
Halfway to May!

Re: Weather
As far as page breaks go, that's a good out-of-context post.
Re: Weather
It's currently snowing here.
It was 80 degrees yesterday.

I always get mad at people bitching about Obama and shit because it's not his fault the real Obama is being held hostage under Stonehedge and the one in charge is a lizard-clone-robot-hitler
Re: Weather
Today's high was 91 degrees. I'll trade you.
Dog keeps trying to get me to let her outside. I keep trying to explain to her that she doesn't actually want to go out there but she doesn't believe me.

Re: Weather
When the hell are the damn trees going to start budding.
Everything around looks totally dead still, like we're trapped in a permanent November.

Nice bit of wind ripped through this morning. Knocked down a good-sized tree in the middle of my apartment complex. Aside from the tree, only casualty was a lamp.

Re: Weather
How scary are the Santa Ana winds, you ask? Well, on certain days, when the sun is close, when there's no cloud cover, and when the hot and dry winds are blowing in fiercely, the combination of direct heat, dryness, and a fanning can cause bits of the local landscaping to just... spontaneously catch fire.
Re: Weather
Funny, that's like the opposite of what we have. It's cloudy, cold and damp.
What I wouldn't give for a little sun, even if it meant spontaneous combustion...

Also, the winds can then blow the still-burning cinders from the spontaneous fires up to a mile away.

Re: Weather
Hey, I see clouds. Guess monsoon season must be starting.
60% chance of thunderstorm on Friday, 90% on Saturday, 60% again on Sunday.
Which would be great if I weren't moving this weekend.

Re: Weather
It's finally raining.
...crap. I sure hope my wife didn't leave her car windows cracked.
EDIT: Nope, but the recycle bin blew over. And I cut my finger on a can when I was picking it up to put it back in.
EDIT 2: Turns out I left MY car window cracked. No idea how I managed that; I've been consciously NOT doing it all month. Of course the one time I forget is the one time it matters.

Re: Weather
It was 108 degrees today.
It's forecast to be 108 again tomorrow. And Wednesday. And Thursday.
It's supposed to get down to 106 on Friday.
Happy fucking September.

We've had a couple days over 90 all summer. Nothing over 100.
