Nothing wrong with making an entire website out of divs and styling each element by hand

Still better than using JavaScript for links.

When you want vaguely semantic typography but also want to undermine your employer's SEO and a11y.

Years ago it bothered me that Chrome removed the "Reopen closed tab" menu option from the tab context menu, even though other tab related options are in there. Instead, you have to click off to the side to get a separate browser context menu to reopen a closed tab. Always kind of annoying, since accidentally closing a tab means I can't just right-click and reopen it, I have to find the appropriate target to right-click on

Now, Firefox keeps the "Reopen closed tab" option in the tab context menu, but now the history of closed tabs has gotten fucked up so it will not reopen the last closed tab, it will instead reopen whatever tab to the right of all tabs had previously been closed, which makes no goddamn sense

Hey Photoshop.

I know you're the most special computer program in the goddamn universe and you're too good for petty mortal concerns like design conventions. But it's File, Edit, View, not File, Edit, six other fucking things, View.

When someone sends me a message in Teams, and my login has timed out, Microsoft sends me an e-mail notification that I also won't see because Outlook uses the same fucking login token as Teams, you absolute morons.

Alright, so, you open a page with an article on a news site or wherever. There's a video at the top, under the title but before the article proper. It starts playing. You scroll down, because fuck videos, you want to read.

As soon as the video scrolls off the screen, it flies to the lower right of the screen and keeps playing. Like, what the fuck, assholes. I clearly decided I don't want to watch your fucking video. And what demented troglodyte fucking reads an article and watches/listens to a video at the same time? Who the fuck targets the warcraft ogre-mage demographic?

I DONT WANT TO WATCH A FCUKING VIDEO SHITHEADS

Oh good, KDE's Dolphin file manager changed the Alt-D shortcut on the "Are you sure you want to permanently delete this file?" warning message from "Delete" to "Do not ask again". Can't imagine that change causing any problems for anyone!

Was it preceded by the customary "Uh oh!"?

Reminds me of how we have a running gag about PoE's client and server stability: "An expected disconnection has occurred."

Yes Google, thank you Google, I am aware that Google Analytics 3 is going to stop working in 11 days and that is in fact the entire reason that I, a person who logs into his Analytics Account maybe twice a year, have logged into my Google Analytics account, because I am working on the transition to GA4, and do you know what would make that go faster? You not popping up a fucking modal every time I click on a new page to inform me that Google Analytics 3 is going to stop working in 11 days.

Which I wouldn't be doing in the first goddamn place if there were an obvious way to just add a fucking global admin, instead of having to add admins to each individual account separately (and yes we should just set up a Global Admins group, but guess who is an admin across six different accounts but does not have the access necessary to create groups).

Google's just trying to get you to migrate to matomo (formerly piwik).
