It's a regular d20. Silversong gave me that necklace many years ago, and I've treasured it ever since.

That's a really pretty photo! Glad you have your water and hat, watch out for heat stroke etc.

Re: HOW WAS YOUR DAY
Saw a different personal trainer than usual, who was unexpectedly hard on me, and kept pushing me despite protestations. Next morning I got a muscle spasm in my upper back. I'm barely mobile, and the muscle relaxer makes me drowsy, and I had so many plans this weekend. Hard not to get bitter about how this is sort of all that trainer's fault. No reply to the email I sent them.

I forgot to mention it earlier, but I got a new bicycle since the insurance company is paying 60% of a replacement for my older bike which I was riding back when the car turned in front of me back in February.
After shopping around I finally decided and picked it up on saturday. It's a little oversized for me on paper, and is missing some features from some of the other bikes I looked at (minor stuff like extra mounting points), but is actually more comfortable, better fitting, and way lighter than any of the other bikes I tried.
My arthritic knees are so happy with this thing and biking is fun again for the first time in years.

Also installed new graphics card without a hitch.
I've never played *any* game at 115 FPS before! @____@

You can tell the difference? I thought I heard somewhere that only kids can see those super high frame rates, and you sort of lose it with age like you do with some hearing frequencies.

Re: HOW WAS YOUR DAY
My old framerate in Tanks, or Overwatch (though I haven't played OW in months), was like, 45ish. Sometimes lower. So yeah, I noticed alright (IIRC, for computers, 60 is the threshold where you stop noticing).
I expect for newer games, it'll make a much bigger difference beyond just framerate. For instance I was only able to play OW on the lowest settings, which are pretty blurry. Or XCOM 2 would have been right on the edge of playable, whereas now I should have a comfortable margin. I might restart Skyrim with a clean new campaign later on and I'm sure that'll be a big difference.
Plus the new card is a lot cooler and more efficient when performing the same tasks as my old one. Tanks doesn't turn my computer into a blast furnace anymore, thank god.

Re: HOW WAS YOUR DAY
Actually it turns out that when I cleaned the computer the last two times, I missed something: what was essentially a felt pad had formed between the CPU heatsink and the heatsink fan. Took a while to gently pry it all out (using toothpicks like chopsticks), but I suppose that could also be contributing to cooler temperatures!

If you haven't bought a fancy "gaming" monitor it's very likely that your monitor has a 60hz refresh rate so any FPS beyond 60 will just be your computer re-drawing the screen more than once before the monitor accepts the new frame.

Re: HOW WAS YOUR DAY
It's possible my current screen is actually capable of a faster display rate... but I don't care enough to check, or set that up if it's true.

Yeah, sorry, I meant to ask if you could tell the difference between 60fps and anything above that. Of course you can tell between 45 and 60, but I've heard people make it sound like 60 is "alright, this is good" and 120 is "OH MY GOD I'M SEEING DEAD KINGS"
