I feel like "Delicious" means "Delicious of its kind" in this case. I want it to be a high bar.
I don't want to be like: O- ok- delicious chikin? How about popeye or KFC?

The thing about fast food fried chicken is that my last comment is serious. Popeye's might not be the best... But it's still fucking fried chicken man.

It's too bad you guys don't have Swiss Chalet. A quarter chicken dinner with Chalet Sauce is a special kind of heaven.

Downside:
One of the easily noticed symptoms I have when I'm slipping into depression is that I don't shower regularly. With longer stretches of not caring enough to shower generally representing deeper depression symptoms.

Upside:
Showering after 3 days of not showering is awesome.

I made fried chicken tenders, today. Flour and egg variety. They came out okay, but there's definitely room for improvement.

And yesterday I fried up the other half of the chicken tenders I had bought, and they came out pretty good. This time I used Panko. Came out much better. Most of them I just breaded with the Panko after powdering with flour and egg washing them, but the last one I made came out the best as I combined the Panko with more flour.

Get up way too early to go out to seminar. Waste money on subway tokens & breakfast. Find out seminar is next week because I'm a dumb. Also fall down stairs fucking up every joint in my right leg (not badly, I should be fine in a day or two).

Good start!

I tried beer battering some things a couple times (with panko) but it kept coming out like a pancake instead of crispy.

So today the company I work at had a little 10th anniversary party with free BBQ. The BBQ was actually catered, too, by company called "Stubmasters". I asked the guy if he was the owner of "Stubmasters".

He had one hand.

It was awesome BBQ, by the way. Totally recommend it if you're in the Houston area.

I'm really really mad at everyone and everything right now, except for you guys.

The computer shop still has my computer, which means that in the best case scenario, I will get it back on Monday. I was counting on getting my machine back so I could get some work done that I had promised a friend before I have to leave for my brother's wedding. I've got to do a lot of getting ready in the next week, so I don't know how I'm going to make this work.

The post office can also eat a billion rotten dicks, too.

Okay, my buddy Damon is not normally an idiot. The other day he was messaging me about "Hey there's this place that will have free ice cream on saturday, do you want to go?" and of course we're all "Sure!"

So I text him today to ask when he's coming and it goes like this:

Me: When you coming over tomorrow?
Damon: 9
Me: 9 pm?
Me: Or 9 am??
Damon: 9 in the morning
Me: You just in the neighbourhood then?
Damon: No, we need to go by 9
Me: What?? Why???
Damon: Because we need to be in Bolton [this is like over an hour's drive away] to line up for ice cream by 11 so that we get some the lineup can be really bad and they run out

Like... I am not going to want ice cream at 9... I barely want BREAKFAST then, not ice cream. Let alone get up way too early on a Saturday to DRIVE FOR AN HOUR AND HALF for one free ice cream. People just do the dumbest shit when they hear "Freeee!"

For the gas money I'd spend driving an hour and a half, I could go get some ice cream from the Safeway down the street.

And sleep in until 10 if I wanted.
