I nailed a job interview with Amazon today. The second interview is next week in Seattle.
...but is it art?

There's really nowhere else on social media I can talk about this without beating him to the punch, so instead I'll take the opportunity here, in the remotest reaches of the internet, to express joy to nobody in particular that a good bro from law school just made partner at IIRC the biggest law firm in Phoenix.

This profession has such a bad habit of rewarding shitheads that I feel compelled to join in celebrating the victory of one of the good guys.

Who needs heroin when you have $40 steak (which actually tastes like $40 steak) and copious amounts of good beer?

Good question.
Roast Beef's last wish as a bachelor has been made real: He got to hang out with his bachelor party at King Spa (which he heard about because his wife had her bachelorette party there).

It's an acceptable day spa.

I have never before cared about shoes that did not have springs or rockets attached, but damned if those aren't some sweet shitkickers.

Speaking of shoes, I've spent nearly $600 on shoes in the past week... and uh... I think I liked it.

I got these and these

I may be in danger of turning into a male Imelda Marcos.

The Canberra is discontinued anyway. I would have actually paid full price - it was surprisingly really hard to find black penny loafers like that with proper cushioning, support, etc. with a nice shape - but getting $350 shoes for $200 was some nice icing on that cake.

Yeah, very few shoes come in an EU 50 / US Men's 16.

Your expensive shoes look way more functional than my expensive shoes, Mongrel!

Also, sweet kicks, Mothra.

99.99th percentile of adult male height, so... Yeah. 6'7" is into freak of nature territory.

Nope, just an inability to find clothes or shoes anywhere in physical stores. Also foot, knee, and back problems. Yaaay!

I may be getting fucked over at work, but on the bright side, I paid off my line of credit two days ago. There was only a grand left in it, but that's the first time in about 8 years that I don't owe anything other than my student loans.
