Yesterday, one of Alex Jones' lawyers invoked the Fifth amendment while getting questioned about the improper disclosure of the confidential medical information of Sandy Hook victims.

During the same hearing, another of Alex Jones' lawyers testified that finding out about that disclosure was "the worst day of his legal career."

The judge in Alex Jones' bankruptcy proceedings threw out the last protections shielding his money from lawsuit losses.

Houston Judge Christopher M. López reportedly ended a stay preventing Sandy Hook families from collecting a $1.5 billion judgment against conspiracy theorist Alex Jones.

In a ruling on Monday, López granted an order to lift a stay that was automatically put in place when Jones filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protections.

The judge set the order "immediately to (i) allow the Sandy Hook Post-Trial Families' Cases to continue to proceed to entry of final judgment and (ii) once judgments are entered, to allow appeals, if any, to proceed and the Sandy Hook Post-Trial Families to pursue, respond to and participate in any such appeals without further order of the Court."

Has anyone here heard of and/or used Ground News?

It claims to try to organize news by political leaning, factual merit, and who owns what. Started by a NASA engineer. You can sort by left, right, or center. There's a whole thing where it'll tell you the differences in how things are reported.

I'm pretty skeptical of how they are defining "left" and "right". Is the Washington Post really left-leaning? And one side is responsible for so much misinformation.

The mission statement and about us is also filled with pretty standard libertarian-esque techno speak. An air of "we simply need to program our way out these Difficult Times" and junk. They're Canadian, though, maybe they're more okay.
