Former Canadian Prime Minister, Brian Mulroney
On the positive side, you could say he advanced environmental legislation quite a bit and was one of the world's foremost leaders in the concerted anti-Apartheid campaign of the 80's.
On the other side you could also say he did so badly that he utterly destroyed the genuinely centre-right tory party we once had, reducing it to just TWO federal seats, leaving an opening for not just one, but two extremely destructive and rage-catering regional parties (one of which went on to become our current tory party), that his blundering on constitutional reform gave that process such enormously negative and torturous connotations that no political party has so much as whispered about constitutional amendments since and may not do so again for decades or even ever, no matter the need (i.e. for senate or voting reforms), or that he was later caught taking fat bribes from various lobbyist random goons in the form literal unmarked brown envelopes filled with cash, which was some impressively amateur hour shit for a goddamned ex-Prime Minister.
Goodbye Brian, I'm sure wherever you are, you and Ronny Regan can sing awkward "When Irish Eyes Are Smiling" duets once again.

Never been a Dragon Ball fan, but his artwork was a big part of my childhood and life nonetheless. Dragon Warrior 3 has some of the most memorable, if not the most memorable enemy sprites for me, in any game, period. And of course there's the rest of DQ and CT as well.
RIP. A true giant.

I was looking at Tracy Torme's credits on IMDb and learned that he died in January at the age of 64, of complications from diabetes.
He doesn't have a lot of credits this century, but he co-created Sliders and wrote for TNG.
Also I think his dad was like a musician or something.

To honor him, pay some more on your next insurance premium. It's what he would have wanted

You know, as attractive as both those options are, I think I'll go with the Doom thing.

I have played a lot of Doom and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that I am absolutely what Joseph Lieberman feared Doom and violent videogames would turn me into: a people-first socialist

Also extremely gay, though I don't think his loathing of LGBT+ had anything to do with his loathing of video games. It's just something else he would disapprove of.

I hate to be in the position of defending the guy, but about the only positive thing I have to say about him is that he was progressive on gay rights back when that was still an unpopular position.

The rich clang of perfectly-timed head-on-metal wallops is like, the pinnacle of the art of the pratfall.
