So is this... a good thing?

like are we supposed to celebrate this? has this defanged the law to where to basically counts as not existing at all? i honestly don't know, i'm not being sardonic.

Probably, yeah.

There are still plenty of ways to intimidate schools and libraries, but this closes off a bunch of them. And anyone can still sue anyone for anything, but this makes it a lot less likely the state will be able to *successfully* sue any teachers for having books that mention gay penguins.
