At the second World Water Forum, Nestlé and other corporations persuaded the World Water Council to change its statement so as to reduce access to drinking water from a “right” to a “need.” Nestlé chairman and former CEO Peter Brabeck-Letmathe stated that “access to water should not be a public right.”

Saying that Tank Girl had a plot is being pretty damn generous.
のほも is such a good word?? the concept is kind of hard to fully get across in translation, but basically it means a feeling of pure, deep, platonic affection, and i think thats beautiful

Half a million gallons sounds like a lot but it's not that big a loss for public health purposes.
