Here's an interesting question for you. PRIOR to Trump, what would you say was the silliest fact about or quote from a US President?

I know the world has been rehabing GWB for months now but him, hands down.

Probably all those times Lyndon B. Johnson talked about his cock in even less subtle terms.

Holy shit Trump is the The Last Jedi of presidents.
We kept getting the same lame cliches and demanded a change, something more real. What we got was an attempt to subvert expectations handled so terribly that things ended up worse than if we just had the same old dumb cliches.

So Trump has united most of America in a desire to return to the 1950s, the core goal of all conservative movements. Mission Accomplished!

Don't forget the abject pandering to the past, when that was the last thing anyone really needed!

Speaking of ridiculous statements...
President Donald thanked first responders in a Twitter video where he described Florence as “tough” one of the “wettest” hurricanes ever.
"This is a tough hurricane," he said. "One of the wettest we've ever seen from the standpoint of water."

Groo strikes me as way smarter than Trump.

Don't know. Trump is only pawn in game of life.

"Did I err?" is something Trump has definitely never said or thought.

It says a lot about the state of politics that Ted Cruz would tweet this...
...ostensibly possessed of the notion that it'll make his opponent look bad.

Have you guys seen the incredibly wacky Ed Whelan nutjob theorycrafting that's hit the news?
In an attempt to clear Kavanaugh's name, the dude (who is 100% GOP flack and McConnell's old clerk) uses FRIKKIN' ZILLOW to put together a hilarious conspiracy theory which, if anything at all, actually confirms parts of Ford's story.

And then there's this from the Washington Post:
On Sunday, Ford noticed that — even before her name became public — Whelan appeared to be seeking information about her.
That morning, Ford alerted an associate via email that Whelan had looked at her LinkedIn page, according to the email, which was reviewed by The Post. LinkedIn allows some subscribers to see who views their pages.
