The animator made that using the Pingu characters first time around, but that version gets hit with takedown notices on a fairly regular basis.

I'll always favour takena for the only/original Chainsaw Maid, which is also my dream occupation.
And I'll always kind of resent Lee for focusing it onto his own, admittedly more polished work...
But I've never seen the outright Pingu version, and I feel poorer for it. Time to scour the wayback machine!

... Also, does the - uh, interesting sticker/van ratio on the recently arrested Magabomber's van count as bizarre, banal, bogus, and possibly even bicubic?

Until sales recover, I assume.

^ Ibid.

Kanye's been huffing his own skill for some time, and there are so many good artists to choose from. In a lot of ways, this was the worst time to tie his wagon so tightly to the alt-right, but... Boo-hoo.

How about something a little more lighthearted.

Man, why don't we have that here on the other side of the pond? Or on all the sides of all the ponds? That looks stupid and fun as hell.

Even without Katamari music, that looks really fun. I can't run anymore, even, but?
Honestly, I just feel like getting tagged out by it, snapping your fingers, going to have a light drink and cheering people on while they keep running in your stead - sounds lovely. The best kind of stupid and fun, the type the world needs more of.

So uh this Jacob Wohl/Jack Burkman scheme to frame Mueller is hilarious, but if I try to summarize it for you you're going to think I'm making it up. If it happened on an Armando Ianucci show, people would think he was losing his touch.

I hate the friggin' Daily Beast, but they've got the best summary I've seen thus far: Mueller Smear Pushed by Pro-Trump Activists Falls Apart at Press Conference

I honestly think what they were thinking when they hatched this scheme was "Wow, it was really easy for the Democrats to hire some lady to frame Kavanaugh for attempted rape; we gotta get us some of that." Which is utterly despicable, and it's infuriating to know that the probable fallout of this will be more Republicans saying "See? You can't trust accusers."

But I'll take my schadenfreude where I can get it, and every revelation in this story is more ridiculous than the last.

Burkman defended Wohl, 20, from charges that he doesn’t have enough experience to investigate such a serious charge against Mueller.

“I think Jacob is a child prodigy who has eclipsed Mozart,” Burkman said.

A heckler cut in, yelling that Wohl couldn’t even open an eTrade account—a reference to Wohl’s lifetime ban from futures trading, a penalty he earned in a previous career as a teenage hedge fund operator.

The amazing thing is that, after this story first broke and people immediately figured out things like

* the contact number for Surefire Intelligence was Jacob Wohl's mother's voicemail
* the photo of the CEO of Surefire Intelligence was a photo of Wohl which he darkened in Photoshop, apparently not realizing that somebody else could just lighten it in Photoshop and see that it was him
* other employees of Surefire used stock photos and, in one case, Christoph Waltz's headshot,

they still went ahead and held their press conference. Without, apparently, preparing any answers for questions they would likely be asked.

I love it all.

This isn't Burkman's first stupid stunt either (as the article does mention).

I mean, you think he'd at least try a little harder, but nope. He really is that stupid.
