Yeah, congrats to Brazil! This was a very exciting outcome. Narrower than I would have liked.

It sounds like he'd just show up at the office and talk about Hitler all day long.

Gee whiz, next you'll be telling me the guy said 'slavery was a choice' or something.

The Royal Mail in the UK were cyberattacked earlier this week and all or part of their system has been screwed up by ransomware.

The main reason I'm mentioning this is that Royal Mail was forced to suspend all outgoing international mail deliveries on Friday, so on the slim chance you've recently ordered something British by mail, note that it'll be significantly delayed until this is sorted out.

Also, there's a climate protest on in Germany as they're razing an abandoned village to the ground as well as some forested areas to expand a giant coal mine. This has resulted in some funny shit.

Obligatory Benny Hill version (with extra bonus footage of the cops being pelted with mud).

"i'm laughing so hard...the monk is an absolute unit"

i'm too lazy to scan my actual German Odyssey Mudhole card and post it here. A fairly picky Google image search isn't giving me the best result either. But suffice to say....

If I had a nickel for every time someone leaked classified military information in an argument on the WarThunder forums... I'd have twenty cents.

But still!

(it was F-16 technical data this time).

To be fair, the F-16 technical data was technically declassified, but under export control restrictions. So you could know about it in the US, just not outside the US.

This was already more or less the de facto state of things, but the Russians just formally announced that not a single soldier will be allowed to return home, save under the following circumstances:

- Hit maximum age 56 to 66 depending on specialty and rank
- Permanent disability
- Cargo 200 (i.e. dead)

Also supposedly if you somehow gain a criminal conviction, but it's being circulated that that just gets you transferred to Wagner's suicide squads. Never mind that the Duma already enacted legislation a couple months back stating that basically anything a Russian soldier does in Ukraine is legal.

EDIT: I know this is obviously misplaced but it's been, like, a week so moving it now is probably even more awkward.
