Except that this does nothing to protect any students, because the bullies will at best shift to a different target.

I tell you what, bullies are going to find an excuse to pick on a kid well before the fucking My Little Pony lunchbag comes out.

And it's not like the bullying will stop if he stops bringing it to school. Shitheads remember.

This is like those urban legends of people putting razors in Halloween candy, except it's actually true.

Now that's a refreshing change from the usual "Family Values politico gets busted at a gay bordello".

Worth reading in full for all the great quotes. I also love the way the paper dryly comments that "this may impact Yee's chances for statewide office."

Ah, the guy responsible for California's unconstitutional sales restriction on violent video games.

He must have been playing Grand Theft Auto. I hear that shit turns you into a criminal.

I do like that one of the pages seems to be a sequence in which a woman is transformed into a snake with tits.

Anime con held on a warship that served in the Pacific in WWII.

Why is this not called Ironicon?

Just in time for prom season, KFC debuts the new Chicken Corsage, for when you need a chicken fix during a dance.

In 1969, California became the first state to legalize no-fault divorces — permitting divorce without requiring proof of wrongdoing such as adultery — in the Family Law Act, signed by Gov. Ronald Reagan.

So I shared that with a couple of my lawyer friends and their responses were:

I would definitely opt to stay unmarried if they brought back fault divorce. I consider that too great a liability

This is the correct play in a shitty situation :(

I think it would be hilarious if Conservatives rammed through this legislation and the end result was a cratering in marriage rates.

At what point do we start feeding conservative politicians into a thresher?

Being from Arizona, I've heard plenty of whining about the evils of divorce breaking up god-abiding families over the years, but I had kinda figured they considered this a lost cause by this point.

I doubt "lost cause" is a phrase in very many conservative lexicons.
