Guy's only in the 3rd string of Dem contenders, but good on him for pushing the window.

Low as my opinion of Biden is, I have to admit he's very good at goading Trump. That's why today's headlines include Trump defends Charlottesville comments by praising a Confederate general.
Of course, Biden doesn't have to get the nomination to provoke Trump, and I'd much rather see him do it from the sidelines. I'm not going to let him off the hook for all his own faults, so here's another link:
Jeff Bidet Expresses Regret to Anita Hill, but She Says ‘I’m Sorry’ Is Not Enough
Which isn't a very good headline, because his "I'm sorry" was a bullshit apology of the "I'm sorry you went through that" variety, but the article is well worth reading for Hill's comments.

I had a long talk with my mom about Biden and after explaining to her all his stupid shit she eventually boiled it down to "well, I like him because he is tall" which was so funny to me that I actually died in real life and now I am a cyber ghost.

Also this is how people fucking vote, remember that.
(I'm actually not kidding, the most reliable indicator of which candidate will win the general election? Which is taller.)
(If you don't believe me, feel free to go back and compare every single US election since TV. The taller candidate wins something like 64% of the time from 1900 onward.)

Buttigieg now the special guest at an expanded version of a Democratic book club. Asked his favorite book, he says (again) Ulysses: “It’s doing the same thing in literature that I’m trying to do in politics.”

I think I preferred the old 20th century SF that didn't predict the upcoming era with vile accuracy.

...I don't even have the heart to make a joke about Orwell or Bradbury.

As someone who's been hoping Biden would immediately blow his lead as soon as the debates start, I am very pleased that we're a week away from the first two and the headline is "Biden refuses to apologize for remarks on working with segregationist senators."
Re: Election 2020 - Here we go again
I said this about a week ago when Constantine was complaining about people saying Biden was the only one who could beat trump.
