Hello, this is the second part of the question. I am still nine.
Same as before, but this time, I want your favorite again, but then also your two runners up. 3 total. Again, don't worry about "best", just whatever you like the most.

Staring at the poll for a minute before deciding how the tedious sailing bullshit in Wind Waker stacks up against the tedious kinstone bullshit in Minish Cap
Re: Top 3 Zelda (Zelda Poll part 2)
where is tunic
Re: Top 3 Zelda (Zelda Poll part 2)
Everybody vote Minish Cap please
Re: Top 3 Zelda (Zelda Poll part 2)
I actually enjoyed Minish Cap a surprising amount I had originally voted for it on the previous poll, before Esper reminded us all how much unskippable text it had.
Man. Tunic's puzzles were fucking incredible. I only wish the game itself had actually been fun...

How fleeting are all human passions compared with the massive continuity of ducks.

Tunic's guidebook mechanic was interesting. That plus the lack of dialog* gave it a feel that's probably the closest thing I could really experience to the original LoZ in this modern era. It hit the nostalgia effect unusually successfully.

Wow! It's a lunker!
Re: Top 3 Zelda (Zelda Poll part 2)
so it turns out that neither my friends or I was right!
well, sort of. This is a pretty small sample size after all.
For the record, my theory was that most millennials would say OoT was their favorite, but if you asked people for a top three that LttP, Link's Awakening, and OoT would be the answers, *in that order*. My theory was that more people would place LttP or Link's Awakening as second place than people would place OoT as first place, basically, with other random Zeldas eating up the rest of the votes.
As it turned out, LttP won the single vote poll, and Breath of the Wild won this one, followed by LttP and Link's Awakening.
My friends told me I was crazy and newer games would dominate in both polls, such as BotW, Skyward Sword (!!), and Twilight Princess.
Anyway, my reasoning was that to a lot of Millennials, OoT felt like what gaming had been building to, had a good story, and was played at a time around 10-17 years old, when games tend to make bigger impressions on people.

I'm kinda not surprised that LttP wins with a group founded around a chat channel named Final Fight?
Something, something, 8-bit and dinosaurs. Someone funnier than me can stitch together the right joke about this.
