No, you just have to watch it. :3

It's like a mashup of Once Upon a Time in the West and For a Few Dollars More - I would say it's not quite up to either of those movies (pretty hard to go up against OUATITW!), but it's still a pretty decent Leone flick and certainly worth watching at least once if you're enough of a westerns nerd.

Incidentally, I can't believe that Lee's first film appearance was in High Noon. What a film to make a debut on!

Angel Eyes and Commissioner Hauk are legendary villain roles, but Mortimer has a lot more going on as a character and is one of the rare times Lee got to play a leading heroic figure. Il Buono, Il Bruto, & il Cattivo is arguably one of the most iconic movies ever made and Angel Eyes as one of the most iconic western villains, but that one really is Tuco's movie.

While Leone had Clint and other regulars on many films, his two best movies are really elevated by the specific choice of actors who only appeared in their respective films. Eli Wallach in GB&U, and a combination of Henry Fonda and Jason Robards in UOATITW.

Morty is my favorite of the three as well, but I can't bring myself to vote against the other two. But yeah as good as Lee was as a villain, (his grave literally has "best of the bad" written on it) it's really cool to see him in a heroic role.
