Again, I'll be quick to defend FF7, but I'd rather play MMX4 any day of the week.

I kind of forgot that MMX4 was the one where Zero has more than one fucking life.

Metal Gear Solid. Of the remaining eight in the winners round, it's one of the strongest contenders for the gold. 9 has coasted by on good will up until now, including my own, but it's time to send it below.

I'm still just voting against Final Fantasy.

Never have, never will understand the appeal of Metal Gear. Voting for FF9.

If it didn't require a premium subscription to watch it I'd recommend Giant Bomb's Metal Gear Scanlon series where an idiot man-child fanboy for MGS sits alongside a complete neophyte to the series plays through each of the MGS games (up through the end of 3 so far). It's actually a really fun way to see Metal Gear both through an idealized lens and from a perspective totally untainted by nostalgia.

Then again, if you've got one, definitely do watch it. It rules.

Both are oozing with weird, ridiculous charm.

Going with Tron because, once I cut through the nostalgia, I'm way happier it happened than I am that FF7 did.

It's close for me, though.

I will vote for Symphony of the Night if it continues on, but I will not vote against Mega Man Legends.
