Automatic pass; while these will get whittled down in time regardless, cutting them in half on the top-end would just put them up against the more scattershot backend, which would give that back end an even harder time clawing its way up against everything that was "good enough" to just hit the list to begin with. Or something like that. Regardless, I think it would be more interesting passing the hardlist in as is.
