Same Game, New Name.

Actually the name isn't very new and the game isn't entirely the same.

Sign ups go to this Sunday, 04/15, at approximately whatever time I decide to get around to updating the thread (late EST). Post here.

After sign ups end there will be one week to create an original comic and send it to me via PM. This is the time to decide if you want to hand off your slot to someone else. If any comics aren't turned in by the end of the day of the deadline, it will be first come, first served to anyone who want to fill the dearth.

I will send out all comics with the first panel removed coinciding with a post in this thread showing the randomly-generated artist order.

Once the first round begins, all participants are expected to forward the comic to the next artist via PM by the end of the next day. If you don't, we wont be mad at you, just disappointed.

Once the final panel has been altered, that artist will PM the final product to me. Final products will all be posted at once unless the same thing that happened last time happens again.

I wish to participate again, although if anybody didn't get to play last time and needs a slot, I volunteer to sit out. I am very satisfied with my response speed last round, but since I don't even remember what I was going for with some of those panels and cannot now figure it out from context, I would like the opportunity to improve my panel quality.

We can have as many players as we want, we just need to add a panel for each additional player. I don't think we're going to have more than one or two more, so it's not like we're going to be writing full graphic novels.

I can't see this possibly being an issue. As it is we would need one more person to sign up and I would be participating just to skim by. If sign ups get crazy and eight or more join, then worst case is two or more 'brackets' of smaller comics.

First assignments due to my inbox by 4/22/18 and will be dispersed shortly after all five originals are collected, be that before or after the set date.

When I originally planned the rules, all exchanges after the first panel were meant to save the end results from spoil for me. I'm now thinking that it will make the ability to identify an issue in the chain more difficult to correct without everyone involved being proactive.

So instead I offer this alternative:

I save the order until the end of the game, each round every artist sends it back to me and I forward it to the next person, then at the very end I post the author of the original / each panel for every comic.

So everything will be sent to you? Sounds fine to me.
