Well, it wasn't a COMPLETE stomp, as Sonic CD gathered 4 votes, but I guess it's pretty clear that Sonic 2 and 3/Knuck are the best Sonic games.

oh come on quackshot is slow and not really flexible in its action but it's fun

Quackshot does the Good Game thing of making your primary attack into a traversal tool, which earns it some legit brownie points. But it is not very fun these days. Which is also something I'd level at the original Strider. Shinobi 3 and Alien Soldier both just hold up a little better to me.

Legitimately why? UMK3 had every stage, character and fatality from 1 and 2 plus more. And all the genesis blood effects.

If you're arguing that the mechanics were smoother somehow that's legitimate I guess but I'll still make fun of you for it because it's early mortal Kombat and none of us were playing that shit competetively.

Shit just felt bad. MK3 always seemed kinda "slippery" in a way that MK2 didn't, maybe because of the run button?? It never caught on with us.
