I wish raising spiders was a job, like apiculture.

I know right?! Like...
Suddenly, I felt we ought to move this to the uplifting news thread/s. Well, but...
I also know some people don't find spiders cute, and while that hurts a little inside, I want to respect arachnophobes.
Which I will do by saying, you can exile all your spiders to me!..

Saaaaame!
I have been told blood sacrifice isn't cute, so here's a nudibranch.

Like a fuzzy little bunny with sooty velvety ears, the nudibranch stood on the street corner and whispered, "Gary...Gary...we're both mollusks, what's your prob?"

also, <3 Lucas. I should know better, having grown up around truly nasty fiddlebacks and recluses and such but dang, even IRL Lucas-alike jumping spiders are adorbs

Hehehe!..

For me, they've just been constant friends. I suppose I consider them auspicious, and good luck. Maybe that's a stupid reason to find something cute; but I've many more.

Of course, I even like hunstman spider's so, my cranial wiring may just be out of sort.
I also like traditionally cute stuff, too! It's not just chitinous friends and invertebrate friends!..

That puppy looks more like Prince Amir of Kinjan than an actual Afghan.

I was at a renaissance faire on Sunday and they had a little pony unicorn that little kids could pet. A whole bunch of kids were in line, and taking their turns with the pony. When I walked by, it was pointed out to me that this pony had a giant erection just flopping around. Animals, no shame.

How do we know it wasn't incredibly awkward for the pony? I'm sure you'd find it uncomfortable if you were surrounded by kids and suddenly popped a springy one.

One of the many things I spent time in before wandering off was 4H. Some of the loveliest/most intense people there, I swear.
Anyway, we actually always had someone on detail to keep an eye on the animals and visitors, and make sure none of the parents lost it if an animal was being showy. Maybe it was just rural_area, but... I don't think anybody really raised a stink about it, at any point.

I know the second bit is what we're supposed to be focusing on, but...

^ I can't bold the text unicorn. Please imagine it's been bolded.

It was... A unicorn...
Are you telling me, Büge...
That unicorns don't exist...
