Cosmos

The new Cosmos is off to a solid start. Tyson is the perfect host to fill Sagan's shoes, and the show has just the right mix of easily-understandable metaphor, historical context, human interest, and gorgeous video to make it approachable and interesting to laypeople. I'll be sticking around for this one.

I probably should have mentioned that hulu is only available in the continental US, which is where I'm not.

I've been using Hola to get around region-locking.

Caught the first episode, and really liked it.

Then I watched the first episode of the original and holy shit the original was good.
