And he was wrong to do so, because Grant is rad and doesn't get enough credit.

But I guess after a literal decade no one cued him in that Grant's not actually a pirate.

At least they give a really solid explanation for a "Trevor" living in Romania. Belmont too, for that matter.

Bee and Puppycat finished last month and Cartoon Hangover uploaded "The Full Series" in one youtube video.

Bee was even more obnoxious than I remembered and it kinda bottoms out around the midsection before they decide to make the last four episodes one long episode, but then the ending really hit me. It's not particularly better than anything that happens before it, but there's a lot of development all leading to nothing, and the last scene is just such a perfect "the show is over, but not the story" moment that felt so beautiful.

Until the endcard was like "did we mention we used 'series' like the British? Next series coming next year!" and it ruined everything.

Wife says, "They're showing the first four episodes of Primal at the Alamo. Do you want to go see that?"

I say, "What's Primal?"

So yeah I bought tickets. I'll let you know how it is!

I wish Genndy Tartakovsky would make more Sym-Bionic Titan...

Boondocks is coming back. McGruder is involved, unlike season 4.

I will have lots more to say later, but the short version is: Primal is really something special and not to be missed. Unless you're sensitive to violence, in which case, you should miss it, because it is the most violent cartoon I have ever seen.

But I am goddamned floored. It's incredible. I think people are going to be talking about it for a long time.

Boy the Primal finale was a gut-punch.

(I mean, figuratively. In addition to all the literal gut-punching. Have I mentioned this is the most violent goddamn cartoon I've ever seen?)

I am not seeing anything suggesting there will be a followup. I'm hoping there is because that's no kind of ending. I mean, it is a kind of ending; specifically, it's a cliffhanger ending.

Tom and Jerry sculptures, mostly focusing on moments where Tom has been flattened or otherwise deformed.

So does this cross over with She-Ra in any way? Maybe it'll turn out to be an MMO they're all playing or something.

No, this is the direct sequel to the 1990 cartoon, with Kevin Smith at the helm.

I was worried that this'll be intolerably Steven Universe but now I'm worried that it'll be intolerably something else.
