80s Cops

It's not exactly heartwarming, but there are some great (and troublingly reflective) moments such as:

Cop playing Double Dragon with a kid in a gas station shop.

Cops not giving kids shit when they learn nothing illegal is happening. Kids feeling comfortable asking the cops if they can keep doing kid shit.

Cops giving shit to a nazi.

80s cops are the very disappointed parents of 010s cops.

Dude does reviews of various music from his car. His fans asked him to try numetal, so he did. Then they kept insisting he try Rage Against The Machine.

Okay, it's fake - he made the doll himself. Well-played all the same.

Well that takes me way back to Escape Pod episode 20. http://escapepod.org/2005/09/22/ep020-the-burning-bush Big Clive is worth the occasional watch on his usual videos too, which focus on detailing the ways pound store electrical goods can murder the unwary.

Adult Swim have commissioned another piece from the authors of Too Many Cooks, this one is...
Well, it starts out as a pastiche of shouty youtube lets-players, and then it goes for a little walk(through).

Adult Swim's website and streaming tech is ludicrous dogshit though, so here's the mp4:

Peter Capaldi reading the reply of the Zaporozhian Cossacks to Sultan Mehmed IV of the Ottoman Empire.

You might remember it as the subject of a famous painting by Ilya Repin:
