I personally always liked Shatner slowly going crazy while singing Mr Tambourine Man.

The best part about that Shatner song is how mid-twentieth century Canadian he sounds.

By the way, while Common People is easily the best song from that Shatner album, of all the comments Shatner's ever made about his career (and he's sure never been shy about making those), Has Been is probably my favourite.

I'm finding it interesting listening to the original source:

For the majority of the backing track used for How You Like Me Now:

Now I'm going to spend the entire morning at work listening to Arrogant Worms. Are you happy with yourself, Mongrel?

"In our line of work, we often get to do a lot of driving across this wonderful land of ours, which means we get to go through that wonderful... place of snow and rock called Northern Ontario. (crowd cheers) Has everyone driven across Northern Ontario? (crowd cheers) Stop cheering. For those of you who haven't, Northern Ontario is 80 billion kilometers long. There are 13 people who live there. All of whom are named Frank. Even the girl."

This one of those songs where I've wanted a copy for years but couldn't remember the title, artist, or most of the lyrics.
