I'm never gonna dance again
Guilty feet have got no rhythm
Though it's easy to pretend
I know you're not a fool

It was this for like a full week after Buge posted that cat video.
After a few in-betweens, someone mentioned "lines on his face" and now it's this.

Don't know why Young Scrolls released the worst song from this EP as a single. Probably my favorite full EP of theirs since Clout Ruler Temple. Track 5 is the hottest.

Young Scrolls is hit or miss for me, but Liar Liar is pretty great.

With the Ed Sheeran lawsuit having been in the news, I keep thinking of the other song I know by that title.
A somewhat melancholy song from a somewhat melancholy album; a lament for The Band itself during a time when the end of the group seemed near.

Really bums me out that -The Branched- arrange album for 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is mainly available as digital downloads since I don't have a CD burner anymore. If I just wanted to listen on my laptop or phone, YouTube still works fine.
I guess I shouldn't worry about expanding my CD collection unless we get another car with a CD player, but still.
The 15 seconds or so of track 1 starting from 1:38 still make my heart lurch.

Just wanted to say thanks, this ost fucking rules. Is the game as good as the tracks here?

It's pretty fucking good, yeah.
Heavily recommend going in blind, but it's sort of a "real time with pause" tactics/tower defense game mixed with a VN/minimal adventure game. The original release had some balance issues, but the latest version improves things in that regard—but really, the difficulty is more about maximizing score in each level to get the best rewards.
As far as the story is concerned, it's Vanillaware doing mech/sci fi for once rather than their usual fantasy fare, but it's a remarkably constructed narrative. Like Outer Wilds before it, this is a game you can only experience for the first time once, so I have spent a LOT of time watching other people's playthroughs on YouTube to try to get that vicarious thrill. Expect twists.

Re: The Song Stuck in Your Brain
oooh, I do love me some "first time playthrough centered game" games.
As a complete aside, I'm still absolutely in love with your avatar and always watch it though completely whenever I see it.
