I saw the Lincoln, Elijah Wood, and Ice-T shots elsewhere and... I thought they were spoofs, like "Ness's Dad phones in!" or "Goat crashes in!" or... like that.

But they're not. Th... they're actually part of the promo video.

Palutena has a lot of the same moves as Zelda.

So we are all getting this on 3DS, right?

(And maybe also on WiiU?)

Fire Emblem character announcements make me understand how people feel whenever they add new Pokemon.

It's still kind of amazing just how many female characters they've added, including the gender swap options wherever it makes sense.

Lucina is the Falco to Marth's Fox. Robin (comes in both dude and lady flavors) has a variety of disposable, finite magic tomes. Chrom is Robin's final smash. Captain Falcon is also in it.
...but is it art?

Lucina is the character I've been waiting for. I'm all in now; First Church of Smahburra, drinking the koolaid super spicy curry, day one etc.

I wonder how many costume variations there will be for Robin. It would be really cool if they did different hairstyles too, so you could (sort of) re-create your own Robin in Smash.

Either way, I'm pretty excited.

The Fire Emblem cup runneth over. I wasn't expecting Robin at all, Smash never seems to lose its ability to bring some surprises to the roster.

It's not Tim Drake Robin so I don't really care.

Better still would be if the 3DS version just automatically grabbed your Robin. Not sure if that's possible; I don't know how much is stored on the device versus the card. But it'd be a neat touch.
