Companion app is pretty slick. Depending on the logout timer I may quit the game to use the app at mission refresh time. Looks like it would probably save a lot of time when buying new cannon fodder is needed, since—at least in my Hall—the recruiters are a little spread out and far away from the table.

We have enough to generally run Heroics most nights, and mythics won't be out of the question as soon as gear falls into place.

But as an aside: Fuck the warrior class hall. Holy shit, my mission requirements are ridiculous.

Our first set of missions required for completion is 3x12. Not too bad, but on the high end. Our second set is 3x48. So while literally everyone else has completed their shit and has their third relic slots on their weapon, I still have another 14 goddamn hours.

Not to mention that one of our class missions has us clear about a third of Ulduar. (The area after XT, through Hodir and Thorim.) And it has more trash than stock Ulduar!

Having a lot of fun so far. I'm hopeful Mythic+ dungeons will be entertaining. If not, I'm no stranger to leveling and then unsubscribing in the first content tier. No personal interest in Mythic raiding although Heroic might be fun if we just happen to have enough on. I don't think I can schedule these days.

I like how Fire Mage feels a lot, although sei may have other feelings. Frost is fun to play but having so many instant procs feels a bit weird to me. I really dislike Marksman hunter now but it's somewhat irrational as a lot of it has to do with the names of the abilities I'm pressing; the actual rotation is pretty similar to how I remember it, but it seems like you use all the abilities backwards.

So, the Withered Army training. I'm curious if anyone aside from Ziiro is having massive success and/or tips. After being a raid leader, I did not think that herding crackheads would be quite so hard.

Tips for zombie elf wrangling:

-The two modes are "Follow and assist me" and "Attack anything and everything with a 75% damage boost". Use these carefully. I'd suggest having them in follow mode until you have isolated a single, remaining big threat (or things that will aggro in groups) and then have them go crazy.
-Only ever use the 2000 mana amount. Anything less is just asking for failure. It's not like mana is hard to get, after all. (Note: Just go to the estate portal and run around with mana collection on.)
-Don't teleport the chests when you find them. Continue on until you have enough chests waiting to zero out your remaining withered. (Last night, for example, I had a 10 and 3 5's waiting.
-If an AOE is about to pulse from you, line of sight it so that it doesn't hurt your withered.
-When in doubt on numbers or their HP pools, simply call it good and head back. I think you get more rep based on the number of withered that make it out with you, in addition to your score. (And for this, I think the withered that carry back the chests count towards 'surviving', but I'm not sure)

-Play a tank class
