Contrary to what the game would have you believe, each boss has 4, not 2, difficulty levels.
They are, in order of difficulty:
1. Normal
2. Heroic
3. Heroic without using Alextrasza
4. Heroic without using Freeze Mage or Alextrasza
Kel'Thuzad will auto-destroy and auto-counter Alextrasza on at least 3 heroic fights: Loatheb, Saph, and himself

I killed Kel'Thuzad with Mr. Bigglesworth. Well, technically Mr. Bigglesworth #2 because I traded in the first one. Kel'Thuzad was not pleased.
First time, I Animal Companioned and then heard a meow. Then I see a friggin 1/1 on the board. I buff it with houndmaster, but Kel'Thuzad will bypass taunt on Mr. Bigglesworth. So cute!

Arena paladin mirror.
Opponent plays Venture Co.
I follow ze rules.
He wants to suicide it but I also play a low attack taunt the same turn.
Next turn I freeze Venture Co.
Next turn I freeze Venture Co. again.
Enemy ragequits.

Admittedly Paladin has quickly become the most frustrating class to play against. Most classes have their hilarious asshole moves but there's something about follow ze rules / humility / repentence / equality all existing in the same deck AND having incredibly low mana costs that just makes it tedious to play against them. This may have something to do with how while I can enjoy zoo for what it is (a straight ticket to single digit ranking town), Crusher Shaman is the true path to my heart. I like big stompy minions. My Paladin deck with now is actually a Handadin, and while it is nowhere near as effective as a Handlock, it sure is fun when it does work. I can honestly retire happy from Hearthstone at any time for having once pulled the Holy Wrath into Molten Giant trick on an opponent with exactly 20 HP.

Freeze mage is still the worst.

Paladins are an amazing pain in the ass that have too many ways to get out of shit, and Ice Mages will blow your shit up? Guess they did a good job of mirroring WoW PVP.

The only thing that keeps Freeze Mage from being as bad in my mind is that I barely run into them anymore. They are a scourge upon this Earth.

Sitting on 1300 gold, I decide to open packs until I get a whatever epic. No epics through six packs.
The seventh pack had Tirion Fordring. Badmouthing Paladins pays off I guess.

Note that you cannot win GvG packs from Arena in runs begun prior to Dec. 8, so if you've been saving your gold, it's wise to only play your free run this weekend and continue to save.

Of course, if you still want vanilla packs, you'll only be able to get those with gold after Dec. 8, so arena like crazy in that situation.

Also, you can complete your free arena run and just hold onto the key until December 8th to get a GvG pack out of it.
