https://androidarts.com - Everything by Niklas Jansson, the pixel artist for Cortex Command and Planetoid Pioneers, the latter of which is kind of a remake of Exile from the BBC Micro, with a dash of Blaster Master.

He's the source of those cartoon images that always crop up in the background of Star Control articles, although generally not this one:

I was a fan of his waaayyyyyy back from his Star Control stuff (which was excellent), but hadn't seen anything from ages and ages, so it felt really weird that I immediately recognized his style in the Cortex Command ad. "Wow! He's actually had work!"

I thought this was a monitor not a mirror.

This is one of my favorites. You can feel the sunshine in this drawing.

I started making my own Terra. Noticed how a chocobo would kind of fit there, but I'm not sure it's going to look good. Chocobos must be stinky and their beaks might be too big for that space between her hand and face. Also I'm lazy and I'm not sure it will come out right. What should I do?

I did but I ddin't even add the chocobo because it looked baad. The finished drawing is so similar to that (and so disappointing) that I'm not even going to post it here (You can see it at my Deviant Art page) so instead I will put this new drawing which is kinda shit: Bombchu Bowling Girl from Ocarina of Time.

Notes: Yes, I made her tits too big but it's either too big or none at all. The more I draw/paint the more I realize my limits. I also suck at being inspired. Anyone has any underappreciated game character you would like to see me try? I can't say I guarantee I'll make it but my brain is blocked and I'm lazy and my self esteem is very low. Cute stuff preferred.

The glow and lighting in that are quite well done (Spram's pic, I mean). Nice.

Thanks Mongrel and Zaratustra!

Anyway, sorry for filling this up with my stuff but I'm on a roll and made a new thing. Imaginary Range is a game, kind of. So I made another Ciela, this time with clothes and I think it's pretty cool.

The backgrounds are made of modified photos, so don't be impressed. You can find them here: textures.com

Still, you integrated the figure into the background pretty well. Nice lighting.

So, I think I know that primarily you're more into game design and trying to lean towards that, but if you are not currently making at least some money as an artist you should definitely change that. All (almost... almost) your art is like, really good. There are big name manga series that get away with less altered photos than that for backgrounds, and people have been known to pay lots of money for "hey can you draw this game character but with just the biggest tits?"

Thanks again Mongrel. I used to do photoshopping for a living until the company closed down.

Thank you too!

I don't know how to get my name out there. I'm so depressed and shy and stuff. I also forgot to sign everything I've done so far, lol. Also, subject matter. Only 2 people have added Ciela to their favorites in Deviantart, while a lot more added Terra and bombchu grill. Nobody played Imaginary Range (it's free on mobile) so nobody cared even though it was (imo) better.

I'm going to try doing more stuff. Maybe Tracer (from overwatch) on the toilet with diarrhea or something. Overwatch and Disney stuff gets a lot fans, but I don't care much about them.
