Starting playing Shining Force 2 and remembered how much I liked May so I pretty much traced over her manual artwork and gave her an HD makeover because I was to lazy to draw her. I feel like I haven't finished, but I don't know what else to do with it.

That's quite good! Is she holding her arrow between her knuckles, though?

I did Wart from Memory then googled it and it doesn't look like Wart. Doesn't even look like a frog.

I need to bug you guys for an opinion: Are pouches on belts acceptable nowadays? Or has Rob Liefeld ruined them forever?

I'm working on a thing with my Warcraft paladin, who I've always embellished with more practical and realistic touches (straps, fasteners, scabbards, extra armor plates, etc.). I thought about adding bags of some kind (you get a zillion different kinds in-game, after all), like maybe on her belt since a whole honkin' backpack would be too much. But then I remembered Liefeld and how he kind of went crazy with the idea, so now feeling hesitant.

Pouches on belts: all good
Pouches on bandoliers: that's kinda what they're there for
Pouches on legs: that's why they make cargo pants
Pouches on arms: uh, okay, if you need the room
Pouches on head: so you mean like a headband or some kinda helmet lining th
Pouches on shield: why, I mean that's the dumbest, no one would ever

Oh. Thanks, Magic.

It doesn't help that the guy in the background on the left seems to be holding a short sword in his right hand, his left hand is a long sword, and his helmet has some kind of unicorn-rapier spike to it.
