To be honest. I'm also disappointed with Nintendo's showing, but what's wrong with gamers these days..I've been noticing this on Reddit and 4Chan gamers (yes, they're all idiots, but they are a lot of people) and they are some of the whiniest, most entitled spoiled shits I've ever seen. People didn't use to be like this! Look at all the idiots who complained about Fallout 4's graphics sucking.. they have no fucking idea how difficult it is to make a game of that caliber. They have no idea that making assets for games is hard and it takes a lot of time, money and talent. Every video game with Resident Evil 4 -level graphics is a fucking beautiful game in my book.

Then again, look at how sucessful an "ugly" game like Minecraft is. I guess most people are OK, it's jut "Gamers". Seriously, fuck them.

True, and the Reddit/4chan crowd will always be little shits, but considering how little Wii U has to offer right now, people are understandably disappointed that what looked like a brand-new Animal Crossing title turned out to be a really benign on-rails party game.

Like, there really is not a lot being offered on either the Wii U or the 3DS so far, given how long they've been out.

Plus didn't they say they're working on some kinda new system for 2016? As in, the Wii U might be replaced in the not-too-distant future?

Yeah, but so was the DS.

Then again, so was the Virtual Boy.

Thing is, Nintendo's still got a lot of great shit coming in the next year or two. The problem is that they announced most of it last year.

This was definitely an E3 dominated by nostalgia, and I have to admit to being shocked that people gave two million dollars' worth of fucks about a new Shenmue and oh excuse me my new graphics card just got delivered a day early fuck all o'y'all I have a new graphics card to put in.

Nintendo never has much to show at E3 because they sprinkle it out throughout the year in Directs.

Also Nintendo generally announces things when they're close to completion, not 4 years off. Most of the complaints are literally "Nintendo stop showing us things that will exist we want promises of things that don't exist yet."
