I have two 25% off coupons for Broken Age, one 75% off coupon for Shadow Warrior (the new one, it's good), and a 75% off coupon for Rise of the Triad 2013 (also quite fun). I own all of these games, so if anyone wants these before they rot at the beginning of March, let me know.

I played a round of Counter-Strike with my little brother recently, and recieved one of the new "operation pheonix" cases. Basically, you get these cases, and if you're drunk enough, you will spend $2.50 on a key to open it. You always, always, always, get a gun that you could have bought on the market for $0.04.

I was drunk enough, and I bought a key and opened it, and got a Stat-trak Asimov AMP. I immediately sold it on the Steam marketplace for $300 steam funbux.

Fuck yes.

Hahaha, oh man, you lucked out even harder than that. According to that graph, the price on the gun just plummeted to under $100.

Well, the graph means that somebody listed one of these things for like $60, and it sold right away. You can scroll over the graph and see the number of sales, so that one was just an outlier.

But yeah. It is a nice-looking gun. The stat-trak thing also keeps track of how many kills you get with it, which seems to triple the value.

$300 for a skin of a video game gun.

I've been playing TF2 for 6 years and the concept of a $1000 video game hat still makes me :scanners:.

For a second there, I thought you said "Star Trek Asimov AMP" and I was expecting a phaser rifle.

Buy three Op Phoenix cases and keys for the folks I do competitive with, then probably sit on the money until the next XCom comes out.

Okay just an update, because I thought you'd get a kick out of this, the guy who bought an imaginary video game gun skin from me for $300 real-life dollars had a twitter link on his Steam page, and his twitter had the single most appropriate photo you could possibly imagine:

Steam streaming. Meaning I can now run a game on the Windows PC in my living room and play it on my low-powered Linux laptop in the backyard.

Haven't tried it out yet but it sounds pretty good. Potentially a lot less fucking around with WINE and dual boots.

I dunno, I don't think that's quite as good as the fabric-matched bow-tie/pocket square over the popped point collar trying to make it look like a wing. One of my favorite things about posts in this thread is I get to resee that image, and every time it feeeeeeels like the first time.

So no one else thinks the one with the bowtie may have some fr srs brain damage? It looks like he has no control over the left side of his face.
