I almost finally have a first level of Pike 'n Shot done.
Here's where I'm at with the boss, the most feared Saurian raider of them all Los Colmillos

Goes without saying that this is looking fucking awesome so far. Particularly liked when the boss closed in and the pikemen shifted up to push him back.
Wonder if recruiting circling wargs could be a thing for the player in the later levels, with them able to press a key to set the warg loose on a random guy in your path.

Formations have two types of troops and different possible leaders that each have their own associated doppelsoldner (double-pay-er).
Saurian Shieldwall will be an unlockable player formation and one of its possible leaders is Los Colmillos who has wargs as his doppelsoldners.
