Count Chocula vs Krispies Wolves (Gameplay Thread)
Alright, some LAST MINUTE RULE CHANGES
Because almost everyone had a role anyway, and because I think the innocents needed a power boost, I have decided to increase the innos power level slightly by adding in "secondary" roles.
Secondary Baner: Gains the abilities of the Baner if the Baner dies.
Secondary Seer: Ditto.
Secondary Vig: Ditto.
Secondary Vampire Hunter: Ditto.
I have also reduced the starting number of Vigs and Seers from 2 to 1. Now there is just one regular and one secondary.
There is no weretiger in this game.
(Amusingly, for my own information I rolled it at the very end to see who it WOULD have been and got Niku.)
For those confused, I will give the total and master role list that is in this game.
Chocula (Dracula)
Sonny (Orlox)
Snap (Framer)
Crackle (Janitor)
Pop (Yakuza)
Chip the Wolf
Dig'em Devil Frog
Seer
Vig
Baner
Vampire Hunter
Secondary Seer
Secondary Vig
Secondary Baner
Secondary Vampire Hunter
That is a total of 15 power roles, giving everyone in the game a role.
Starting with 7 bads is nearly 50% of the playerbase, but with each innocent able to fight back in some way and the bads killing each other, hopefully things will work out. In any case, perfect game balance is difficult to pull off on a first run.
Some rule clarifications:
If both Chocula and Sonny are dead, the vamps kill each night instead of turning.
The Vampire Hunter cannot be turned or killed by the vampires. If bitten, the Vamps instead learn his identity.
The Secondary Vampire CAN be turned or killed, assuming it is done before the primary dies and the secondary inherits the whip and immunities.
The Devil cannot be turned, and instead dies if bitten.
Seers go last in night role order, so they will see all turns that night.
The Framer makes a Seer see a non-wolf as a random wolf (Snap, Crackle, Pop, or Chip, determined by die roll)
Despite starting with low numbers, the vampires can bite with impunity, having no danger of hitting a wolf and exploding as in previous games.
Turned retain their previous powers, including Vig, Seer, and Baner. If a secondary is turned, he will not gain powers until the primary is killed.
Roles going out. Game is still closed to posting.
