Mr Associate reads too much into names.
Re: Welcome to Wolf-Mart (Gameplay)
for the record, my name is A. Wolf, short for Air Wolf. Because I'm a helicopter.

On one hand, if imawolf is a wolf, we'll feel pretty dumb for not voting for them.
On the other, Joe clearly doesn't give enough of a crap to not be boring.

WAIT
I submit this way cooler avatar AND my mighty simple, mighty convincing reasoning behind singling out Seeker!
I AM THE SEER, and I have SEEN that THIS MAN is a WOLF!
I wager my leaf on it.

Re: Welcome to Wolf-Mart (Gameplay)
It just this very instant occurred to me why it is a terrible idea to tell everyone you're the Seer.

Well the good news is when you get killed tonight, you'll have a very good idea of why.

You know... Even if Joe is the Seer, that's not really what I'm looking for in a Seer! If he's not a Wolf, we can follow his advice and do Seeker next turn?

plead rustiness if you want but to me a seer claim isn't best tested by killing the person making the claim - wolves will do that if it's true, or the vig can do it if it's false
might be a fool, anyway
only real danger is if village idiot is possible but then he'd want us to kill murder him rather than a supposedly scried target

Re: Welcome to Wolf-Mart (Gameplay)
I feel that if we're already going to have a seer claim tarnishing the reputation of our egalitarian establishment, there's an air of the uncouth around such an act. I don't know that we can in good conscience vote for the finger pointer or the finger pointee when we can't afford many more accidents with regards to our fine corporation.
I think we must examine Captain Silver for thinking it so immediately a grand idea to check Joe's loyalty to the company with another "accident".

I'm confused, why are we lynching a seer?
Captain Silver seems to be leading this bandwagon of lynching a seer.

Re: Welcome to Wolf-Mart (Gameplay)
I want to lynch someone who Day 1 says "Lol I'm da Seer guys!!!"
Come on, why would anyone say that, I'm always in favour of lynching anyone who does things that don't make sense and leaving the analytical, intelligent players alive.
I'm not a wolf and I don't believe that dude's a Seer without him giving some further explanation as to why he revealed his role. He's almost certainly just a wolf trying to stall out a turn by making stuff up.

I think a wolf might say, "I am the Seer and <Innocent Villager> is a wolf."
He wouldn't actually name a real wolf.

Re: Welcome to Wolf-Mart (Gameplay)
are you kidding? one of the strongest plays as a wolf is to throw an ally under the bus, so that when that ally is discovered to be a wolf, the betrayer is painted as an innocent
