I dunno, I can totally understand being distracted from this thing. Hell, I missed check-in because I keep vampire hours and also I forgot about it because drunk.

Anyway, I'm not changing my vote, but I'm pretty ಠ╭╮ಠ at Friend right now. Flinging dynamite all over fuck at the first opportunity is my thing.

Well, we got 5 people who haven't voted. I can shift my vote over to Grath in the interest of getting the day over with, but I'm not in any hurry? I'd like to see some other people cast votes before I rush things.

In other words, the people who are avoiding voting have something to hide.

I'd like more people to weigh in and I'm not at all convinced Grath is bad, just that his posts so far have been obstructive to our actual goal of finding Things. I'd rather not waste the test confirming he's just human playing poorly, but I don't have any murder-means so all I can do is point a wire at him. I am also fairly sure one of the flamethrowers should go ahead and kill Friend tonight. He's unarmed, so he's useless except as a potential Thing, and we already know we're not finding two Things for tonight.

So no one said Antarctica was gonna be this way
Base is a joke, pod's broke, Chess Wizard's D.O.A.
It's like you're always frozen in abject fear
When it hasn't been your day, your week, your month, or even your year

I'll be burning you
(When the flesh starts to pour)
I'll be burning you
(Like the alien clones before)
I'll be burning you
('Cause you're a Thing too)

I'm inno - look at Wolfmart, when I was Rosencrantz. There's precedent for me being a quiet try-to-slip-under-radar bad. If y'all want to waste the wire, go ahead.

Holy fuck dude, really?

"Here is my defense, even though I know that it's pretty much futile because y'all are already decided on testing me and being all OMG NO I'M INNOCENT is just going to make everyone more suspicious"

The good news is that I'm a normal human so when I test as human, I'm not carrying a flamer or dynamite if the Things decide to turn me.

Hoping Frocto will pull his vote off me now that I'm confirmed Human, no?

Does dynamite blow them both up or just the one?

Dynamite only kills the victim. The thrower then becomes one of the plain folk and they're actually a liability in this game.

==== RULE REFRESHER ====

- Dynamite only blows up its target, and can only be used during the day phase (Reminder, no more dynamite today).

- Dynamite remains live in the hands of converted Things.

- Dynamite cannot be thrown by a restrained target (two or more votes).

- Converted flamers lose their flamethrower.

- Flamethrowers have higher priority than the Thing at night, but you will still receive notification if your flamethrower target was in the process of conversion when you toasted them.

- Each night, team Thing chooses a specific individual to convert their human target. Because of this, a single flamethrower can carry the game for humans; if a Thing attempts to convert a flamethrower, but the flamethrower also toasts the Thing, the flamethrower lives and the Thing dies.

- Wire only reveals Human/Thing status. Death reveals Human/Thing status + role, if any. However, an original Thing cannot be differentiated from a converted vanilla on death.

Strangely enough, I agree with Ocksi. Confirmed town players are a bit useless in this game, considering they can always be turned later. We're only good for camouflage for the flamethrowers, but since I've proved I'm not a flamethrower, I'm pretty much useless. Feel free to flame away, if you don't have a particular suspect in mind.

Don't waste tests on that, it's better to let a fire man act on the fire plan.

To keep things moving, I'm setting the end of Day 2 to 24 hours from now. Hammertimes still work as normal.

Hammertime.

Should we be looking at Friend for blowing a dude up day two? I'm reading it like a frustrated Human, but it's worth discussing.

All dynamite should fly as soon as possible. Friend could very well be turned already, but he made the right play for the innocent side and for real, he should turnt up burnt up tomorrow either way. We REALLY should not waste a test on Friend. We know he started human. We got a free test out of his dynamite. Just let the man roast in peace.
