I don't think gahitsu is a Thing because she tested a Thing yesterday and I doubt they'd take such a risk so close to victory. Kayma has recently killed a Thing also, but could have been turned since. Laserbeing is either a great innocent or a masterful Thing. I'm clean.

That leaves Grath who has honestly always been a bit fishy! Haven't you?! ADMIT IT LIKE SHARKEY DID you bastard

LaserBeing wrote:Yeah, it's also dicey because she could very well be the last flamethrower. I definitely don't want to do anything rash until everyone's been given a chance to defend themselves. We should be careful even about bolding our votes because if there are indeed two Things left, all they need is a single vote to push through a dogpile

There haven't been any death messages about flamethrowers. What do you know that we don't, LaserBeing?

Are you serious? Considering the fact that there has only been a single burn victim every night for this entire game, even with last night's burn that looked more or less like it was totally random?

Grath

Since I'm very dead now and Friday is potentially still without power, lemme go ahead and speed things along:
I was a Thing. May as well get started on night actions so that next time Friday can be around, she just has to handle the outcome of the night actions.

INNOCENT VICTORY

Grath - Assimilated Night 4
Mothra Dynamite - Killed by Kazz day 3
ocksi Doctor - Assimilated Night 3, killed by Kayma day 4
Newbie - killed by Friend day 2
gahitsu Flamethrower - Assimilated Night 2
Kazz Dynamite - killed Kayma day 4
Leaf - Assimilated Night 5, Burned Night 5
Frocto Thing (original)
Kayma Dynamite - killed ocksi day 4
Friend Dynamite - Flamed by both Night 2
LaserBeing Flamethrower - killed Friend night 2, Frocto night 3, Niku night 4, Yuri night 5
Niku - Assimilated Night 1
Sharkey Thing (original)

Good job all who played. This game took forever, not the least bit due to the giant fucking storm that blew down my house and then my neighborhood so I left and then it blew down the neighborhood I went to.

Things would have easily cleaned up if I hadn't done the rule change, of course, no question. I still feel like the game was better for it, though. I'll be sticking with the later day vote kill rule going forward, but I do apologize for changing the rule mid-game.

Damn you, Stormageddon! If it wasn't for you losing power and getting rid of the time limit, people might've actually hurried into a bad vote and then gahitsu and I could've dogpiled for a 50-50 chance of insta-win night 6.

We still had a 50-50 chance of winning, if we'd been playing smarter. Our debate was on assimilating Kazz or Yuri night 5; we should've been discussing Yuri vs Laserbeing to try to get the last flamethrower to increase our chances dramatically, but I hadn't been paying enough attention.

Super high-five innocent friend Laserbeing! I didn't ruin the game! Nor did anything go according to plan, but, of course, now we die in the snow staring at each other, ever wondering about what's real and what's just in our imaginations.

Why did Sharkey and gahitsu both wire other Things when they were already Things? Jeez! It's like they wanted us to kill them!

IIRC gahitsu just wanted to waste her wire - Sharkey was already doomed to get voted for after his Maximum Risky Gambit.

I told Gahitsu to bandwagon me once you made your Megapost, to try to remove SOME suspicion.

I really didn't know if it was gahitsu for the final Thing or not.

My sole contribution was blowing up Newbie instead of the flamethrower, gahitsu.

Whether I find you annoying or not is not particularly relevant. ♥

But yeah Laser's right use that wire already Newbie jesus.

I was going to convince you by blowing you up, which is why you'd find my posts annoying. Fortunately for you, you didn't need any convincing.

I do regret blowing up Mothra. I was listening to ocksi even though he was a bastard. He claimed Doctor to me on Day 1, before he was turned and after I was wired. So I followed his lead even post-turn. IT ALMOST WON THE THINGS THE GAME FOR REAL

I probably should have been pushing harder for Lee-Ham given I had a gut feeling about him being a flamer for a couple of years now pretty early on but I was wishy washy about literally everything instead!

I'd really consider this essentially a Thing victory, though I'm glad we got the chance to play it out.

I liked the part where I put dynamite in, on, and around ocksi.
