What a terrible night for a Thing (Thing 6)

Postby Friday » Sun Nov 09, 2014 4:36 pm

A dog. A helicopter. Men who could not speak your language.

They seemed crazy, holding explosives, firing weapons.

Now you know what they were trying to warn you about. Now you know that dog was something more... or less.

Two of you are not who you seem.

It is now Day 1. It takes 7 votes to test. Laserbeing has the wire.

Dynamite may not be thrown today. Day 1 has no time limit. From day 2 onward, 48 hour limits with each player having one Hammertime they can use to extend the day 24 hours.

Though dynamite cannot be thrown today, I will remind the players that you cannot throw dynamite if you have 2 or more votes on you.

Game will begin once all players have checked in.

A doctor with only a 75% success rate? I'm not sure I would want to visit them. Depends how desperate I am, I guess.

Doctor should find a the flamethrowers and protect them; misinformation from his test will do more harm than good unless things get really desperate.

I dunno if this is what you meant, but:

Each day, one person has an extra test they may use at their discretion. However, self testing is not permitted. In addition, you vote to test as well.

It's a vote to test, not an actual extra test attempt.

I missed a few Thing games here and there, did anyone "solve" tests? Like, in instances where someone says, "I'm innocent, test me, test me!" what's the generally accepted best response? It seems like something no Thing would ever say without them taking a huge risk, so surely it's a waste of the test?

Yes I'm aware this is probably a stupid question, but Thing differs a lot from Werewolf so there's that.

It means test Kazz in a couple days because he'll definitely be Thing by then if he's not already.

Of course you aren't a wolf. You're a husky. Only actually you're The Thing.

Close enough. Husky and Malamute are both from a common ancestor 'Arctic sled dog' breed.
