BrontoTechnology Poll!

Just curious as to how we predominantly browse this forum now.

If there are a lot of people on smaller screens, it's good for us all to keep in mind.

I have no idea how to vote in this poll, because I have a regular-sized (well, it's a few years old, so it's probably on the smaller side of that) laptop, but don't seem to have the MEGA-SIZED monitors the rest of you folks do.

Maybe 1080p width as the benchmark between small & large PC screens? With 1080 and above considered full-size? Or maybe a bit bigger, say 1280p?

1080p has been standard on desktops since last decade. Multi-monitor or 2560x1600 are what's larger than normal now.

I think my screens on this computer are technically "small" (they're 1440x900) but I have two so... Full-sized desktop?

How about we allow multiple votes per person for those of us who use a desktop PC and a tiny phone depending on situation and time of day?

I use my full-sized laptop, but I would use my phone if the site were more compact.

I don't use one of those fancy vidiafones you kids seem to be into these days. I need at least a few pounds of computronium to navigate the interwebz.

I have a dual-monitor setup, but I only use it for work purposes. If I'm just using my computer to goof off, I'm running a single monitor at 1440x900, and my browser window isn't even full screen (I also have an IRC window on the right-hand side). If I'm working I'm doing a 1080p monitor, my 1440x900 monitor, and virtual desktop software to spread out all of my shit.

I main a 1920x1080, and have a 1600x1200 on the side that I use mostly for IRC and sometimes movies, or browsing while a fullscreen game's up. But I do not consider my setup typical and would not expect anything to cater to it.

Except the fact that most of my browsing is on the 1920x1080. Because that is bog fuckin' standard these days.

I have only one monitor, but it's 1920 x 1200.

16:10, represent!

EDIT: At work we have these piece-a-shit old screens that are like 1024 x 768 or something stupid. I wangled one that's a bit bigger but even that's only 1280 x 960 (I think).

I'm browsing on a 1050x1680 display (it's in portrait orientation) with a second 1680x1050 one right next to it. Lately, however, I have also been using a 7" tablet with 1080p resolution, though it acts as though it is of a much lower resolution in order to improve readability.
...but is it art?

When I'm on my PC, I don't maximize the window. Old habit. Not sure where on the poll that puts me, either.

Hmm, perhaps my laptop falls under smaller-sized. It's only 1280x800.

Also it seems I can vote multiple times in the poll.

I set it to allow people to change their vote if they wanted.

Oh, I guess someone else just voted at the exact same time I changed mine.

I'm kinda split evenly between a 1920x1080 monitor and a 7-inch tablet, so I don't think I can just vote for one thing.
