...I don't know if you pasted the wrong thing or I just got some kind of weird browser/server caching bug, but the first time I saw your post it had the same Homer video I had posted at the top of it.

I was pretty confused but totally planning to play it off like I got the connection between those two things.

Huh. I wonder if that's a YouTube issue. I had the exact same thing happen to me about two days ago, only with a different YouTube video on a totally different forum.

Hm, come to think of it, they're on phpBB too, though they have a more recent version.

Would it be possible to double (or more) the number of poll options allowed?

The maximum allowable number of poll options is 127. That is what it's now set to. I hope your poll is really good.

A topic in the private forum was moved to an even privater forum due to a reasonable request, and then scrubbed from all existence on accident. Which is okay.

Mothra fixed the account authenticator and my inbox was immediately flooded with approval requests for old friends like ""ifhhorycd" and "gjsvtzua".

Yeah we are getting a fuuuckload of spambot reg requests right about now. Maybe it's done kind of backlog from Christmas?

I'm gonna wait a day or so, and if they're still clawing at the walls like this, I'll probably just change the captcha to something weirder and harder for them to guess.

Chat robots, chat robots,
Where did they come from?
Chat robots, chat robots,
What do they want?
Chat robots, chat robots,
They want to chat.
Chat robots, chat robots,
They'll never stop.

I remember the old days, when a flood of applications was just a slew of preteens from 4chan trying to get into Lust.

I remember there were some specific patterns I blocked on the old boards (like *.*.*.*@* as an E-Mail, because have you ever met a real person with more than two dots before the at sign?), but it was pretty much like whack-a-mole and I don't think we ever really stopped filling up the traps until we switched to Captcha. If the current Captcha isn't working, yeah, I'm sure phpBB's got plenty of plugins for the job.

My personal email address matches *.*.*.*@gmail.com actually.

Alright I changed the question to "What is the dinosaur on the banner saying? Type it twice, with a space between the words." with no restriction on capitalization or spaces or punctuation. We'll see if it works!
