Also, in the time since posting that, I was randomly logged out. Despite not even closing my browser.

I've had to login 3 times in the last 5 minutes, just flipping between boards/topics.

Okay... gonna try disabling the "validate browser" option here.

Fingers crossed.

Nope. Still getting logged out half the time it takes more than a minute to load a page.

I've had that tab open for two months, but never got annoyed enough to move, but it also has never gotten any better and from what I could see in logs, wasn't actually all that interesting. I'll resurrect this plan this week. Poke me in IRC if I seem to have forgotten.

Oh good I found a computer I'm still logged on. Now just have to figure out how to change my password. Again.

Automated emails should be working again, after Lady's fix. Just tried it on my end and the email showed up.

Thiiink I fixed this. Can you try again? I can't send myself a password reset email as a administrative god-emperor.

Moving forward with plan Oh God Not Windowsss ssssServer It Burnsssss

Should be a lot simpler this time (theoretically), so we'll see. I'm using the same log-in credentials that I discussed with everyone who previously requested to retain their webspace, HOWEVER there will be the caveats that:
1) logins will end with "@brontoforum.us"
2) logins will be case-sensitive, so if you gave me capital letters, you're going to need to use capital letters.

watch this space for further developments!

I think I sent everyone's updated FTP deets. If I didn't, let me know.

I also think I got all the data transferred over, although I got a little confused with all the different backups I made, so if you uploaded anything in the last month and it's not there, so also let me know--the old server is still up for now so I can pull anything off if need be.

I also also think I got all the subdomains configured correctly, but I kind of recall there may have been someone else with a db? Please let me know if this is you!

Yeah this definitely seems a lot faster on my end. Huge thanks for moving everything over in one piece, Lady.
