Re: Avatars
oooh. Ohhhhhhhh.
Can I? Is it too much to ask? That is a fine Dante.
I need to sleep on it, but, hoo.
This is what it feels like to stare into the face of the divine.
I want to mash my Dante and Dante together. I want to make something beautiful.
Can we go even further?..

Obviously the next step is to make googly-wall-eyes (featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry series)

I do like the original here.
But you can see what sort of avatar I go for.

The best avatar!..
And I'll probably be doing something similar. I'm just having stupid amounts of fun, though...
Okay, so, I've run out of Dantes. And I really need to sleep at some point, probably.
Here is my final Dante tally at a grand total of three (3) Dantes.
Finally, although it was hard to find image blessed by Kos - or Kosm, as some say - I found one courtesy of VGJunk.
What does this mean?
I haven't the foggiest.

Ack, crumbs. One moment.
There we go.
Edit'd, I really should sleep.
Bring more Dantes.

Can't tell if you already did Dante from Clerks or not.

Re: Avatars
Oho, I didn't add Dante from Clerks! But, looking at it in the morning...
Well, it's definitely still silly, and I definitely still laughed. But it's hard to separate the various component Dantes from one another, isn't it?
And I want them to look a bit more like they're screaming, as if escaping a nightmarish hellscape where there is only (googly-eyed) Dante.
I learned a lot from the valuable experience, though; for one, I think I'd make each Dante a 'chunk' of a sphere.
Still, I have my honour.
Cartoon Dante would have probably been funnier, and I would've preferred to use a certain reaction from Clerks as opposed to Clerks II, but I feel satisfied in this final outing. Thank you all for your support!

Re: Avatars
That composite image is vastly more appealing than Grath's.
Re: Avatars
What's wrong with my composite image? It's just the most recognizable features of a dozen celebrities.

Somehow I actually got used to yours.
I wouldn't even see it as a composite anymore if it wasn't for the freakishly white teeth and subtly too-pale skin on the forehead/around the eyes.

I missed this, but I find them the height of comedy. And I hate comedy, usually, so I don't know what my damage is.
But, somehow, googly eyes make everything better.
That being said, I had a realisation that all my avatars should look slightly depressed, so I cropped a favourite painting.
And the history is rather fascinating, but possibly to me alone, so... Here it is...

Ah, you like the DANTESQUARE, too! Thank you...
Although, I don't know -
Grath, I think yours is the most distinctly human composite I've seen. Human tones of flesh, human ocular devices, human presence.
Very... Human...

I'd just always assumed it was an emotional self portrait.

Re: Avatars
I wish I had the depth of character to emote more than a vague sense of aloofness.
But fortunately, that's what emotive avatars and composites are for!... And Halloween.
Which I can't stop being psyched for.

It's a good painting, Bront.
Re: Avatars
Back to the classics.
Though I admit "ladies judging you" isn't as strong as an aesthetic as "despondent Polish jesters"...

There were two others I passed on.
Shame I couldn't find the rest of them. There's way more than this.

It bothers me immensely that the Hello Darkness one doesn't go on to finish the line, so good choice.
