Yeah I can really stop somebody from having their own independent thoughts. Great way to welcome somebody back. Eat my ass. Anyway! Hello people.

Did Dogstar really just misinterpret a sarcastic fuck you in the worst possible way as to be offended by it.

Wow.

"Bronto has become pretty chill these days. You should stop by and say hi." I told him.

Welp. Thanks everyone. What a way to open the new year.

Nah.

We were entirely chill until he jumped straight to that.

It was pretty obviously just miscommunication.

Also, Niku's joke fell on a page break, with the explanation post on the second, so that probably didn't help.

How about we just try this again only without everyone's backhairs standing straight up like a bunch of ornery old tomcats? Would that be alright with everyone?

Sure. I'm willing to take it as a miscommunication and just let it drop.

You can't not find it fucking funny that after all these years, Dogstar still thinks it's everyone else's fault, right? He even frames "Getting mad at a pun made by Mongrel" as "Everyone told me to go fuck myself so I told them how I really feel."

I had this thread tracked so I could respond to people asking about me, but between Mongrel's attempts at humour and Dogstar posting at all, I think I'm gonna bail. If people wanna catch up they should definitely contact me off-boards though, always happy to chat

Well, take care of yourself, you beautiful asshole.

Thinking about your LPs always brings a smile to my face. Ye olde golden age.

See ya around.

About as funny as how after all these years, Lyrai still resurrects threads nobody's posted in for three months because she's holding some kind of grudge against somebody who's not even here anymore, over something everybody else forgot about, and feels the need to passive-aggressively stir up some drama for reasons known only to her.

I mean, it's not so much ha-ha funny as funny like the end of a sitcom, where somebody says a catchphrase and somebody else says "That's our Lyrai!" and there's canned laughter and a freeze-frame.

That's our Lyrai!

Eh, there was a whole thing in IRC that prompted this. Dogstar was, at time of resurrection, actually lurking.
