I've been a butt and need to collect some random crap so that the box isn't just 80% re-gifting stuff Lyrai sent me last year. I also need to book some time on the laser cutter and get something rigged up that I can laser cut. Because shiny toys.

Managed to book some time on the laser cutter today (and hit up the Nintendo store ten minutes before they closed after sneaking out of the company holiday party early last night, which was fortunate - it was on my way to Grand Central and there wasn't a good way to use the subway to get to Grand Central from the party, I just assumed they'd be closed already until I was walking past and they were still open.) so all that's left is putting things into box and then filling it with re-gifts from last year (because I still don't have that much random junk lying around my apartment) and hopefully shipping it off this weekend to arrive next week.

Yeah not gonna get my box out before I leave for a week and a half (I suppose I should also mention: Nobody will be receiving packages at my place for the next week and a half.) It's like a Chrono Trigger chest though, the longer it sits unopened the more powerful the thing inside it.

I'm hopefully gonna be getting my box out in the next hour-ish as long as the UPS store is actually open, 'cause otherwise my next chance to get it shipped is probably Friday.

The good news is those assholes now have accurate hours on Google Maps. The bad news is that they are closed on Sundays. I'll see if I can get it shipped tomorrow morning from Manhattan on my way in, otherwise it'll end up waiting until Friday.
