And I think Bal recognized that?

This is correct.

nyao is the second chatbot, and maou is the administrator of both of them. I sometimes reflexively ignore maou's lines in chat though because his name is four letters and uncapitalized, so I assume it's going to be nonsense.

We old LB crew have been kicking this around for a while (because it remains a constant even with people who have been on VOIP with us for over a decade at this point), and have figured out it's definitely based around having met him. He's such a cartoon character in real life that being around him gives a lot of context to things that are otherwise misinterpreted as snide or assholish and arrogant.

Though I may be biased, as these days JES is legit one of my besties and I'm always ready to stan for that herb.

If you have the same name you have to either be best buds or mortal enemies that's THE LAW.

It's pronounced "flap"

I assume they just realized we're boring.

Was sort of like a tornado which blew through.

It was a pretty decent tornado though, so I hope she comes back.

Next time a friendly new person shows up and is engaging and enthusiastic, maybe we don't throw a bunch of drama and ugly history up at them?
