A whooole lotta FF figures - they're all pretty good, and some of them seemed to have not survived the trip, but that's okay, I have model kit tools I can use to fix it.

A box of mystery arrived this morning! I was alerted by Conan going nuts barking at the USPS delivery person (... and knocking down the power strip with one of my Vive base stations plugged into it, so I'll probably have to recalibrate my VR.)

Let's take a look inside... A Kirby amiibo is the first thing visible.

Under the amiibo (and more bubble wrap) I find some Switch games: Super Bomberman R and Puyopuyo Tetris.

Some card game, with art by the Foglios (who were responsible for some of the more out-there old Magic art.)

A lego (or lego-adjacent) Koopa Troopa figure

A book with an endorsement from George R.R. Martin, so I assume there's overblown descriptions of food and that it's part of a series that will never be finished.

Speaking of, Emperor's Soul is set on the same world as Elantris, but a different area that uses a different kind of magic. I'm a total Sanderson shill at this point, but I gotta say this story is the best single thing he's written.

Pairs is such a solid game - it's great for killing a few minutes in an airport or waiting for your turn in Arkham Horror or something. There are tons of variants too - my favorite is Deadfall, but lots of them are pretty great.

I. Love. This. Bowl. It's lovely, and oddly enough I bought a little bowl with some cute ghosts on it for Halloween and haven't replaced it yet so GUESS WHAT - this is my new seasonally-neutral living room bowl. And I love it.

Man, I read a ton of Megatokyo. I've never read Cowboy Feng, but I feel like I would probably run a space diner in an alternate timeline. I dunno this cookbook, but I use a ton of Alton Brown books, so I imagine it's right up my alley.
